UK and US determined Iran should not have nuclear weapons

Lammy, who visited the US for official contacts, stated in a post on her X account that the situation in the Middle East continues to be dangerous after the conflict that started with Israel's attacks on Iran.
"We are determined that Iran must never have a nuclear weapon," Minister Lammy said.
Stating that she met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US President Donald Trump's Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff at the White House, Lammy said that they discussed "how an agreement can prevent the deepening of the conflict" during the meeting.
The British Minister stated, "There is a window of opportunity to achieve a diplomatic solution in the next two weeks."
"It is time to prevent regional escalation that will benefit no one"Lammy announced that he will travel to Geneva, Switzerland, with his French, German and European Union (EU) counterparts to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Erakçi.
Minister Lammy noted:
"Now is the time to stop the grave scenes in the Middle East and prevent regional escalation that will benefit no one."
