The Ministry of Culture and Tourism provided 7.375 million lira in support for 28 new cinema projects.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism provided 7.375 million lira in support to 28 projects in the second half of 2025. Thus, the support provided to the cinema sector this year reached 14.069 million lira.

According to the statement made by the Ministry, as a result of the evaluations of the Cinema Support Board, a total of 7.375 million Turkish Lira support was given to 28 projects in the second period of 2025, including 1.2 million Turkish Lira for 7 script and dialogue writing projects, 3.9 million Turkish Lira for 14 short fiction film production projects, 1.3 million Turkish Lira for 4 short animation film production projects, and 950 thousand Turkish Lira for 3 feature film development projects.

In the first half of 2025, 6 million 694 thousand lira support was provided to 40 projects, and with the second term support announced for the first time, a total of 14 million 69 thousand lira support was provided to 68 projects.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism's total support for the film industry, including feature-length productions, reached 217.024 million lira through 2025. In 2024, the ministry allocated a total of 6.621 million lira to 60 projects.

The results of the second term support for feature films will be announced at the end of September.
