Quarantine in Zonguldak! Precautions were taken in a 10-kilometer radius in the district

Quarantine was initiated in a village in the Karadeniz Ereğli district of Zonguldak due to suspicion of foot and mouth disease . After suspicion of foot and mouth disease was detected in two cattle in a livestock farm in the Güllük village of the district, teams from the District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate initiated work.

Teams that took samples due to suspicion of foot and mouth disease created protection and surveillance zones with a diameter of 10 kilometers. Sensitive animal species are not allowed to move in this area.

Animal movement restrictions were imposed in 34 villages and neighborhoods in Karadeniz Ereğli, 20 in Kozlu and 2 in the center.

Outbreak vaccination efforts have been initiated in the village where the disease broke out and in protection-surveillance areas.
