New details in the statement of Eren Bigül, who killed two police officers: 'I do not like Atatürk'

On September 8, 16-year-old Eren Bigül attacked a police station with a pump-action shotgun in the Balçova district of Izmir, killing First Class Police Chief Inspector Muhsin Aydemir and police officer Hasan Akın. Twenty-seven suspects were detained in connection with the incident. Seven of the 11 suspects were arrested, including Eren Bigül and his father Nuhver Bigül, Iranian national Khalegh Noorıborojerdi, and Syrian nationals Mahmud Algatı, Cuma Tabbas, Fıras Seyid Abdurrahman, and Muhammed Elhazzam.
