Ministry announced: Eight sausages are imitation or adulterated products
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced that eight sausage products were counterfeit or adulterated.
It was stipulated that the Ministry could present the information it finds during inspections to the public in accordance with the 6th paragraph of the 31st article of the Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed Law No. 5996.
Accordingly, during inspections, 'mechanically separated poultry meat' and 'offal' were detected in some sausage products.
The following sausages were added to the "Imitated or Adulterated Foods" list announced on October 22, 2025:
