Officials stated that no additional tax studies have been conducted for owners of multiple homes. Media claims of a multi-tax increase are untrue, and that no such regulation is included in the package to be submitted to Parliament.

Some news reports about the "Tax Justice and Reform Package," which came to the fore after the opening of Parliament, suggested that a multi-tax would be implemented. However, sources stated that the package did not include any studies on this issue.

REGULATIONS ON PROPERTY TAX ARE ON THE WAY

The government will take authority from assessment committees following public outcry over the high increase in property tax rates. The new regulation will reportedly be submitted to Parliament and enacted within the year. Furthermore, the high tax rates reported in the media will be reviewed and tax levels will be set to prevent public inconvenience.
