Hungary offers lifetime tax exemption for mothers with 2 or more children

Orban made statements in the Hungarian National Assembly regarding the steps the government will take in the economic field this year.

Describing 2025 as a breakthrough year, Orban said, "We will also implement the most comprehensive tax reduction program in Europe. This is what I call a breakthrough. We are introducing full, lifetime income tax exemption for mothers with 2 and 3 children."

Orban stated that the regulation will come into force in October 2025 for mothers with three children and in January 2026 for mothers with two children.
