Heavy snowfall warning for eastern Black Sea region

According to the assessment made by the General Directorate of Meteorology , snowfall is expected to become effective again in the east of the Eastern Black Sea Region starting tonight and continue heavily, sometimes intensely, until Thursday morning in the east of Rize, the central and northern districts of Artvin and the west of Ardahan.

It is necessary to be careful against transportation disruptions, icing, frost, blizzard and avalanche risks.
