Tolga Taşkınel, Süleyman Ege Sevil and Hüseyin Emre Ç. started staying in the same house 2 weeks before the incident. An argument broke out between Tolga Taşkınel and Süleyman Ege Sevil. As the argument escalated, Sevil stabbed Taşkınel in the chest with a knife. Hüseyin Emre Ç., who was in the house at the time of the incident, escaped.

After neighbors reported the situation, teams were dispatched to the address. Tolga Taşkınel, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved. The police detained Süleyman Ege Sevil with the crime weapon in the apartment and Hüseyin Emre Ç., who escaped, shortly afterwards. Süleyman Ege Sevil and Hüseyin Emre Ç. were sent to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station. Süleyman Ege Sevil was arrested by the criminal court of peace, while Hüseyin Emre Ç. was released.

'HE ATTACKED ME FROM BEHIND AND PUT ME IN A NECK LOCK'

Süleyman Ege Sevil, who was tried for life imprisonment, appeared before the judge for the first time at the Antalya 5th High Criminal Court. The parties and their lawyers were also present in the courtroom . Defendant Sevil, who said he accidentally killed the victim, said, "On the day of the incident, Tolga woke up in the morning and said he wanted to go out. We went to the shopping mall together and walked around a bit. Then we both went to Zeytinköy. I knew Tolga was a drug addict. I even told him he shouldn't use drugs at home. In the evening, I was sleeping in my room at home. I noticed Tolga enter my room. He took money from my wallet. Then we started arguing. I took back the 4 thousand liras he took. Just as I was about to turn and leave, he attacked me from behind and put me in a headlock. I took the knife that was in the living room and swung it to get away. When he realized he was injured, our friend Hüseyin Emre Ç., who was at home, ran away. I called the police and the ambulance. I put a tampon on his wound. But he died. I didn't mean to kill Tolga. I regret it very much."

'I KNOW HE DID NOT USE SUBSTANCES'

Tolga Taşkınel's mother Ayşe Yaman stated that her son did not use drugs and said, "Tolga was already under supervision. My son was receiving drug treatment at AMATEM. Blood tests are also being done there. He came to Bodrum to see me 3 days before the incident. I know he did not use drugs. Because when he used, his face color would change. I am filing a complaint against those who killed my son." The court board decided to continue the defendant's detention and adjourned the hearing.
