Frightening tremor in Balıkesir: 3.6 magnitude earthquake in Yaylacık

The Sındırgı district of Balıkesir province was once again shaken by an earthquake. According to data from the Kandilli Observatory, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck at 10:17 a.m., with its epicenter in the Yaylacık neighborhood.
The Observatory reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10.4 kilometers. It was also felt in surrounding districts.
While residents in and around Sındırgı experienced brief panic, initial reports indicated no damage or injuries. Authorities stated that the situation in the region was being closely monitored.
