Fire panic in zinc plating workshop

The fire broke out around 11:00 a.m. in a zinc plating workshop in the Polish and Nickel Industrial Site in İkitelli, Başakşehir. For reasons yet unknown, workers in the building were not evacuated during the fire. Numerous fire, paramedic, and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon receiving the report. Dense smoke quickly spread throughout the area, and the fire was quickly extinguished after firefighters intervened. While there were no injuries, the fire caused material damage to the workshop. Cameras captured workers in the same building smoking cigarettes and recording the firefighters' work on their cell phones instead of going outside.
