Fire breaks out in Bursa's historic castle

A fire broke out in a wooden structure in the historical Kestel Castle in the Kestel district of BURSA. The fire was brought under control with a 1-hour intervention by the fire brigade.

The fire broke out in a wooden structure in the Historical Kestel Castle in the neighborhood at around 21:30. A large number of firefighters, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene after those who saw the flames rising reported it.

While police teams took security measures in the area, firefighters intervened in the flames. The fire was brought under control and extinguished after 1 hour of work by the teams.

An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire, which rendered the wooden structure unusable.
