Factory fire in Çanakkale: 1 worker seriously injured

A fire broke out at around 12:30 in the plastic glass production facility in the Etili village of Çan district of Çanakkale. The fire, which started for an unknown reason, quickly grew due to the flammable materials inside. Upon notification, many firefighters and water trucks were dispatched to the area.

One Worker Seriously Injured

Factory worker Erdal Ulu, who was inside during the fire, was seriously injured due to burns on his body. After the first intervention of the medical teams at the scene, he was sent to Çan State Hospital and then to Çanakkale because his condition was serious.

District Governor Investigated the Crime Scene

After the fire was brought under control, Çan District Governor Dr. Emre Nebioğlu came to the scene and received information from the authorities. Gendarmerie teams started an investigation into the cause of the fire.
