Engin Baltacı officially announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Beşiktaş Board of Directors

Beşiktaş Club's former second runner-up Engin Baltacı announced in a press conference held at his law office in Beykoz that he is a candidate for the chairmanship of the board of directors in the elections planned to be held in September-October.

Baltacı, who said that he decided to run for the board of directors' chairmanship after long consultations with his team, said, "All of the boards of Beşiktaş Club needed to be renewed. I absolve the board of directors from this statement. All of the boards were renewed, but the board of directors was the one that needed it the most. 8-9 candidates emerged for the board of directors' chairmanship. I am one of them."

Engin Baltacı emphasized that the board presidency needs a serious change and said, "Beşiktaş Club needs the intelligence, compassion, friendship, togetherness, guidance, seriousness and equal approach of the board presidency. The board of directors needs to be a big brother, not a tutelage body above the Beşiktaş management. I am a candidate to coordinate the management of this process with you and our board members. I am a candidate to coordinate this work. Otherwise, as the board members of our Beşiktaş, we will all take this together. We will bring another dimension to the work of the Beşiktaş Board of Directors. This dimension will benefit our club. We will present this to the discretion of our management. It is at their discretion to implement what we will bring. For this reason, while consulting with many of my friends to run for the board presidency, we also talked about what we can do together. We did this with a small team. We will announce the roadmap in the upcoming period."

Emphasizing that they have no intention of stealing a role from the Beşiktaş Board of Directors, Baltacı said, "We will create a board structure where everyone will listen when they open their mouth, where everyone will trust what they say, and where people with negative thoughts will be hesitant.
