Double pain! His heart could not bear his wife's pain

Güler Ala lost her life the day before in the hospital where she was receiving cancer treatment in Ankara, and her body was brought to her hometown, Zonguldak's Devrek district. Güler Ala's husband Ogün Ala also fell ill and was taken to the hospital after seeing his wife's body during a condolence visit at his mother-in-law's house last night. Unable to bear the pain of his wife, Ogün Ala apparently had a heart attack and could not be saved despite all interventions.

A funeral prayer was held for the Ala couple in the village today at noon. The couple were buried side by side in the village cemetery.
