Approximately 20 million students will receive report cards today

The 2024-2025 academic year is coming to an end. A three-month summer vacation is starting for approximately 20 million students and more than 1 million 200 thousand teachers.

Students spent the last week of the academic year with artistic, cultural, sports and scientific activities.

YKS will be held on the weekend

High school seniors and graduates have a YKS marathon ahead of them. Candidates will take the Higher Education Institutions Exam tomorrow and Sunday.

15 thousand contract teachers will be appointed

Oral exams for the recruitment of 15 thousand contract teachers to be held by the Ministry of National Education will begin on June 23.

The exam will be held in 5 provinces: Ankara, Bursa, Erzurum, Istanbul and Konya .

New curriculum implemented for the first time

With the new curriculum within the scope of the Türkiye Century Education Model, a number of innovations were implemented in the education and training processes this year.

The new curriculum was first implemented gradually, starting from preschool, 1st grade of primary school, 5th grade of middle school and 9th grade of high school.

One of the main agenda items in the 2024-2025 academic year was vocational and technical education.

Following the establishment of craft workshops in the 7th and 8th grades of secondary schools, vocational secondary schools were opened within the Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools as of this year.

The Vocational Work Program for teachers for the June 2025 period has also been announced. Accordingly, teachers will be able to participate in the Vocational Work Program at appropriate educational institutions in the provinces and districts of their choice between June 23-27.
