A theologian was appointed to the TRT board

The new appointments made to the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation ( TRT ) by a Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette attracted attention. Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz was appointed Chairman of the TRT Board of Directors , while Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahid Sobacı, who had served as TRT General Director for four years, retained his position.
