126 people arrested in the "Clamp-40" operation against FETÖ

The number of provinces where operations were carried out against the revolving restaurant chain targeting FETÖ's financial structuring increased to 32, while the number of people detained rose to 372.

Of the suspects who were referred to courthouses after their procedures at the police station and brought to on-call judgeships after their procedures at the prosecutor's office, 126 people, 4 of whom were public employees, were arrested. While 156 of the suspects were released on condition of judicial control, 90 were released from the police station and prosecutor's offices.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account on February 21 that in the "Clamp-40" operation conducted simultaneously in 31 provinces centered in Antalya against FETÖ, 353 suspects, including 10 civil servants, who were determined to be providing financing to the organization through a döner restaurant chain, were caught.
