The French thrashed the Italians in the Champions League final

French side Paris Saint-Germain became the first team in football history to win the UEFA Champions League/European Cup final by five goals. In the final match of the 2024/25 season, the Parisians thrashed Inter 5-0.

In the 12th minute, defender Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring with a pass from winger Desire Douai. In the 20th minute, Douai doubled the Parisians' lead. In the 63rd minute, Douai scored a double and increased PSG's lead to a large one. In the 73rd minute, winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored the fourth goal for the French team. In the 86th minute, midfielder Senni Maiulu set the final score - 5:0. PSG won the main European club trophy for the first time in its history. The Russian goalkeeper of the Parisians, Matvey Safonov, spent the entire match on the bench.

Karelian fans watching the live broadcast called the final a one-sided game. And they sang a hit by a famous rock band, replacing the popular lines Argentina-Jamaica with the participants of this final.
