Mikhailov-Junior Academy achieved a comeback victory over Red Army.


On October 1st, in the latest round of the championship, Mikhailov Junior Academy played away against Moscow's Krasnaya Armiya. The match ended with a triumphant effort from the Tula team, who managed to come back from behind and snatch a 4-3 victory in overtime.
The home team started the game confidently, establishing complete control over the events on the ice.
In just the first four minutes, the Army Men managed to score twice, creating a significant lead. Even the subsequent power play couldn't help Tula, and late in the period, Vladislav Pushkov failed to capitalize on a crucial opportunity.
The second period was dominated by the Mikhailovsky team, who began to dictate their terms. On one of their counterattacks, Nikita Demidenko effectively set up Yan Kuznetsov, who narrowed the gap.
The visitors continued to press and had every chance to tie the score, but Sergei Andreev's penalty shot was expertly blocked by the goalkeeper. Before the break, the Muscovites capitalized on their numerical advantage, restoring the two-game lead.
The final period began with a disallowed goal for the Red Army, which proved to be the key moment of the match. This episode inspired the Tula team to make a powerful push. Alexander Petrov put in a superb performance, scoring twice to tie the game, sending the game into overtime. Ilya Klinovsky scored the decisive goal in the 65th minute, giving Mikhailov-Junior Academy a deserved victory.
On October 4th, the Tula team will face another difficult away game, this time against Spartak.
