Astrakhanochka handball players lost to Zvezda

Mikhail Izmailov's team lost 26-28. In the latest round of the Russian Women's Handball Super League championship, Astrakhanochka faced Zvezda in Chekhov, Moscow Region.

For the time being, the match was going in favor of the Astrakhan team; by the break, the score was 14:13 in favor of Mikhail Izmailov’s team.

However, in the second half, the home team managed to seize the initiative and ultimately won – 28:26. Belarusian halfback Yana Sotnikova scored 11 goals for Astrakhanochka.

On October 7, Astrakhan handball players will host the capital's Luch on their home court.
