Ossetian wrestler Alikhan Ktsoev once again confirmed his leadership status by becoming the overall champion of the international Khadartsev Brothers Tournament for the second year in a row. In the decisive bout in the 97 kg division, he faced Shamil Musaev.

Just as he had at the first Khadartsev Brothers Tournament, where these athletes had already met in the final, Ktsoev demonstrated his superiority. He confidently defeated Musaev with a final score of 5-0, winning the tournament's overall champion title for the second time. The tournament was held in the capital of North Ossetia.

It was previously reported that sambo wrestler Ismail Makhozhev from the Karachay-Cherkess Republic won gold at the CIS Games.
