Space Forces successfully launched Soyuz-2.1b rocket from Plesetsk Cosmodrome

The Russian Space Forces have successfully launched the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket from the Plesetsk state test cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region. According to the military department, the launch was carried out on September 13, 2025, by a combat crew of the Aerospace Forces.
The medium-class rocket launched two spacecraft into orbit. The main payload was a satellite in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense, intended to perform tasks within the framework of a defense order.
The second device was the educational and research satellite "Mozhaets-6", created by a student of the A. F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy. This device is designed to test promising technologies of astronavigation in space.
