Slutsky announced the conditions for the return of Western companies to Russia: recognize new regions and pay

Western companies that have left the Russian market will have to fulfill a number of conditions to return. The list of these conditions was listed by the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky (LDPR). The main demands are to recognize Crimea and four new regions as Russian and to give part of the profit to a special fund for the restoration of these regions.

Against the backdrop of active rumors about the desire of many foreign corporations to re-occupy a niche in the Russian market, parliamentarians formulated a list of conditions for them. The first is to publicly recognize Crimea, the LPR, DPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions as Russian regions. This will be a kind of confirmation of loyalty and the absence of a stone in the bosom. But even after this, foreign companies will not be taken at their word. The second condition for returning is verification.

“These companies will have to undergo verification for possible participation in financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Slutsky.

The third condition is the allocation of a portion of the profits received on the Russian market to a special fund.

- We propose to create - this should have been done long ago, but it is not too late today - a special fund to support new regions. Each of these companies will have to transfer there on a regular basis the funds that will be earned due to business in Russia, - the parliamentarian explained.

The fourth condition is a positive conclusion from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and industry associations. Finally, the fifth condition is the removal of the copyright protection regime from the returning companies.

- We will discuss this with the government, wait for the reaction of society, which, I am sure, will be supported. Now, for these companies to return as if nothing had happened is too easy a story, - concluded Leonid Slutsky.
