The Russian fiber-optic FPV drone "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky" has destroyed NATO equipment worth over two billion dollars since it was first used in the SVO zone in August 2024. This was stated by Alexey Chadayev, CEO of the Ushkuynik Research and Production Center (RPC), TASS reports.
Since August 2024, the cost of NATO equipment destroyed with the help of Prince Vandal in the SVO zone has already exceeded two billion dollars, Chadayev said.
The FPV drone with fiber-optic communication "Prince Vandal" was first used in the Kursk region in August 2024. The drone is resistant to electronic warfare and is capable of solving various tasks. The name comes from the legendary Prince Vandal, the ruler of Slovensk, the ancestor of Novgorod.
