Poland scrambled fighter jets over alleged Russian activity in Ukraine

The operational command of the branches of the Polish armed forces reported that fighter jets were scrambled due to alleged Russian activity in Ukraine.

“Military aviation has begun operating in Polish airspace,” the report notes.

It is specified that the Polish command has made a decision according to which all available forces and means will be put into action.

“In connection with this, ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems were put on high alert,” the command added.
