Gladkov: Belgorod has introduced a new algorithm for warning about the danger of drone attacks

The Belgorod Region government, together with the regional department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, has introduced a new algorithm for alerting the population about the threat of drone attacks. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported this on his Telegram channel.

According to him, if there is a threat of a UAV attack, the siren will be turned on for one minute, after which a voice announcement will sound: "Danger of UAV attack." The removal of the threat will also be announced through loudspeakers.

The governor urged residents not to ignore warning signals.

Earlier, Gladkov confirmed that a Ukrainian drone had attacked the Belgorod Arena in the regional center. One of the UAVs hit the Belgorod Arena sports complex, where classes were taking place. He noted that as a result, the roof caught fire, which was extinguished by firefighters. A contractor will restore the building. In addition, as a result of the attack by another drone, the facade and glazing of the building of a social facility in Belgorod were damaged.
