Flexible office spaces have become popular in Russia
Interest in flexible office spaces, where companies can quickly change their configuration and employees can choose their workplace depending on current tasks, continues to grow rapidly in Russia. Such offices provide functional zoning for team and individual work, unassigned workstations, and areas for rest and study.

The spaces can be easily transformed to suit new tasks thanks to mobile partitions, flexible rental conditions and work organization services - from booking work places to technical support.
According to October Group analysts, the number of requests for flexible office space increased by 18.3% in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. At the same time, according to CORE.XP, 55 thousand square meters of flexible office space were rented during this period - at the same level as last year. Only about 800 square meters of space were vacated, which may indicate high potential for growth in the segment.
Experts conducted a study based on the analysis of user queries and recorded an increase in interest in several areas at once. Users were especially active in searching for solutions related to the organization of office partitions. The number of such queries increased by 23.8% in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year.
Interest in zoning has grown by 18%, in mobile offices - by 9.3%. When comparing the last two years, the growth in demand for flexible offices was 42%.
- Flexible offices remain in demand due to their adaptability and ability to quickly scale to the company's needs, - notes Irina Khoroshilova, Senior Director and Head of the Office Real Estate Department at CORE.XP. - This is especially relevant in the context of a shortage of quality space in traditional office formats: flexible spaces allow you to quickly meet the needs of tenants.
