Residents of the Moscow region were warned about the possibility of a sharp change in weather

The summer season is beginning in Moscow, and as is usually the case during the warm period, the weather can change dramatically, sometimes literally before your eyes, said Alexey Safonov, weather observer for the Meteoweb project.

According to him, residents of the Moscow region can expect a week of varied weather: there will be heavy rains, thunderstorms, and temperature fluctuations.

The temperature will be pleasant. On Monday, around +20 during the day, and around +10 at night. By Saturday, the air will warm up to +25, but on Sunday, according to forecasts, the daytime temperature will drop again to +20 degrees, and there will be precipitation. Rain is also expected on Tuesday. Then, together with the cloud front system, showers and thunderstorms will come to the capital. During thunderstorms, gusty winds are likely. Wednesday and Thursday will be relatively clear and dry.

In general, such weather can be called comfortable: daily temperature fluctuations are insignificant, and periodic summer rains will only bring benefits, moistening the soil and reducing the level of fire danger in the Moscow region. But it is worth noting that Saturday and especially Sunday will be rainy.

Safonov notes that the forecast can be assessed using Murphy's law, according to which the weather gets worse as soon as the weekend arrives. It is better to check the weekend forecast in advance, on Wednesday or Thursday, when forecasters update the data, he noted.
