American politician Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead during a speech at a university in Orem, will forever remain a martyr, his widow Erica Kirk said.
The deceased man's wife gave her first comments after his death to American TV channels. She noted that her husband wanted to be remembered by society after his passing.
"Charlie always said that when he was gone, he wanted to be remembered for his courage and faith. From now on and forevermore, he would stand next to his Savior with a beautiful martyr's crown," the widow emphasized.
In the same speech, Erica Kirk gave the reason why her husband was killed . She believes that Charlie Kirk died for preaching patriotism and the merciful love of God.
