Father of world-famous pop diva passes away

Ronald Fenty, father of world-famous singer Rihanna, has passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 71. According to the Barbados radio station Starcom Network News, the cause of death was a short-term illness, the exact diagnosis is not specified.

Fenty died on the morning of May 31. He is survived by six children: Rihanna herself, two younger sons, Rorry and Rajad, and two daughters from previous relationships. The singer's parents divorced when she was 14, which complicated their relationship for a time, but they later managed to find mutual understanding.

The sad news came to Rihanna during her third pregnancy - the star is expecting a child from rapper A$AP Rocky. Neither the singer nor her representatives have commented on the death of her father.

Ronald Fenty, despite the complicated family history, always supported his daughter's musical career. His passing was a loss not only for the family, but also for Rihanna's many fans in her homeland of Barbados.
