Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center and meteorologist, spoke with the MK online portal about the weather forecast for Moscow and the Moscow region in the coming days.
The weather forecaster noted: "Warm, fine weather awaits Moscow and its residents for the remainder of this week. We've already said goodbye to frost. This was the last night with frost."
Alexander Shuvalov said: "We'll then see more cloudy weather. Clouds have appeared in the sky, and they've actually softened the overnight cooling. Daytime temperatures will remain around 13-15 degrees Celsius, with nighttime temperatures now hovering around 2-7 degrees Celsius. So, we're bidding farewell to the cold anticyclone, and cyclones, which are located far away but will influence the weather across the European part of our country with their southwesterly winds, will take center stage."
The meteorologist added: "So, warm weather is expected in Moscow, with no overnight frosts. There might be some light rain on Friday night, but a sluggish frontal zone is rising from the southwest. These will be very short-lived, very light showers. The remaining days will continue to be influenced by the periphery of this anticyclone, but this time it's a warm periphery. Therefore, we expect warm weather with no precipitation."
