Woman on holiday in Europe found lifeless in pool of blood

The woman went on holiday to visit a friend in Europe and was found lifeless in a pool of blood, Bild reports.
According to the source, the 52-year-old German woman was staying in the village of Castagno d'Andrea in Tuscany, Italy . The tourist arranged to meet a friend and went to her along the Via del Borbotto hiking trail leading from the village into the wooded hills. When the German woman did not answer her call, the friend raised the alarm and went in her direction, where she found the bloody body.
According to Italian police, the woman suffered serious head injuries. Experts are confident that the traveler was brutally attacked. At the moment, law enforcement officers are investigating and awaiting the results of the autopsy.
Earlier, a lifeless tourist from Brazil was found in a hotel in Japan . Hotel staff found her in her room several hours before her flight home.
