Winners of the school volleyball league were determined in Krasnodar

The decisive stage of the Kuban school volleyball league took place in the Olimp Sports Palace in Krasnodar. Eight strongest teams from six districts of the region competed for the championship title: Shcherbinovsky, Novopokrovsky, Slavyansky, Seversky, Dinsky and Krymsky.

As explained by the press service of the Kuban administration , the award ceremony was held by the deputy head of the region, who heads the regional volleyball federation, Evgeny Pergun. The vice-governor emphasized that "Star Volley" is a large-scale event that united almost 67 thousand students from 981 schools in the Krasnodar region.

As a result of a tense struggle among young men, the team from school #19 from the Slavyansky district won the gold. Second place was taken by athletes from school #3 from the Shcherbinovsky municipality, and third place went to representatives of school #44 from the Seversky district.

Among the girls, the team from school #1 (Shcherbinovsky district) won, the volleyball players from school #35 (Dinsky district) took silver, and school #41 (Krymsky district) won bronze. The winners and champions of the tournament received awards, diplomas and memorable prizes from the Volleyball Federation of Krasnodar Krai.

The tournament was organized by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of Kuban, the Ministry of Education and Science of Krasnodar Krai, and the Volleyball Federation of Krasnodar Krai.
