On Saturday, September 13, a strong earthquake was recorded in Kamchatka again. The strength of the tremors was estimated at 6.3 points. In connection with this, a tsunami threat was declared in the region. This was warned on the Telegram channel by the Governor of Kamchatka Krai Vladimir Solodov.

He noted that specialists had already begun inspecting socially significant facilities and residential buildings. There was no information about damage.

"A tsunami threat has been declared. We ask you to be especially careful when visiting Khalaktyrsky Beach and other tsunami-hazardous areas," Vladimir Solodov announced.

As the head of the Russian Academy of Sciences Gennady Krasnikov reported, scientists warned about the terrible earthquake that occurred on July 30 in Kamchatka. In particular, regional authorities knew about the danger.
