The operation was carried out by operatives of the Committee for Combating Drug Crime (CDC) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The cooks were caught red-handed when they intended to enter the black market with 11 kilograms of the drug. According to the acting chairman of the CDC Daniyar MEIRKHAN, the mephedrone production workshop was based in the Turar dachas of the Karasai district.

- The criminal scheme for the production and distribution of synthetic drugs was organized by two citizens from a neighboring state. During operational activities, about 35 thousand single doses worth a total of 1.6 million dollars were seized from illegal circulation, - Colonel Meirhan reported.

In addition, during the search of the laboratory, the drug traffickers found 20 liters of a special liquid, 115 kilograms of psychotropic substances and more than two tons of precursors. If not for the Interior Ministry operation, these ingredients would have been enough for 120 kilograms of "synthetics".

- The criminal environment suffered damage amounting to 17.5 million dollars. The detainees were placed in a temporary detention facility. Work in this direction, oriented towards the principle of "Law and Order", continues, - the main fighter against drug crime summed up.
