US President Donald Trump responded with surprise to journalists' question about the possibility of US participation in the restoration of Ukraine, TASS reports .
Trump said the U.S. has already invested $350 billion in aid in Ukraine, noting that this is quite a large contribution. Thus, Trump effectively answered negatively to a direct question from the media, which he called "a little strange."
Trump made his statement at a joint press conference with Emmanuel Macron, who arrived in Washington for talks with the American president.
Earlier, MK reported that Macron suffered one humiliation after another from Trump.
