The Ethnofestival "Rites-outfits" (0+) united 18 thousand guests and participants
On the second weekend of the summer festival "City of Meetings" (0+) on July 5 and 6, the esplanade hosted the ethno festival of living culture "Rites-outfits" (0+).
The event attracted 18 thousand visitors, and the program included performances by artists, master classes, performances, theatrical performances, fashion shows and creative meetings.
According to the organizers, the festival "Rites-outfits" (0+) is intended to tell about the past and future of the national culture of the peoples of the multinational Perm region, where more than a hundred different ethnic groups live, through art. This year, special attention was paid to the Komi-Permyak culture in connection with the centenary of the Komi-Permyak Okrug. In addition, Perm, in its status as the youth capital of Russia, united youth ethnic groups from different parts of the country.

As noted by the general producer of the City of Meetings, Natalia Galkina , the festival is implemented in a format that is unique for Russia: the central part of the city with its modern architecture and dynamic rhythm of life has been transformed, filled with traditional elements of the life of our ancestors: decorations, decorations, rituals, costumes, songs, round dances and other events.

Throughout July, the esplanade will host the events of the "City of Meetings" (0+) every weekend. On July 12 and 13, the family festival "Star Fest" (0+) will take place. On July 19 and 20, the festival of creative professions "Dance-Open" (0+) will take place, where artists from the famous Russian label "First Music Publishing House" will present their numbers and hold educational events for young people. The July program will be completed on July 26 and 27 by the festival of art and extreme sports "Behave Culturally" (0+). The Night of the City (0+) is planned for the end of August.
