Sergey Sitnikov extended tax breaks for Kostroma IT companies

The press service of the Kostroma regional administration reports that on February 26, Governor Sergei Sitnikov signed the law adopted by the regional Duma on extending the preferential tax regime for Kostroma IT companies.
According to the new version of the regional law, only those companies whose income from IT activities makes up at least 70% of their total income will be able to apply reduced tax rates.
But for those companies that meet this condition, the tax burden will be cut in half. According to preliminary estimates, this will save IT companies about 20 million rubles. At the same time, it is expected that the income from the payment of personal income tax by company employees will replenish the regional budget by 111 million rubles.
