318 women terminated pregnancy this year in Voronezh region

81 women refused to have an abortion as a result of psychological work.

Since January 2025, 318 residents of the Voronezh region have terminated their pregnancies. This was reported by " VRN Obozrevatel " with reference to information from the Ministry of Health.

141 women came to state clinics with the decision to terminate a pregnancy, but 59 chose the life of the child. 258 women came to private organizations with the desire to have an abortion, of which 22 refused to terminate the pregnancy. In total, 318 citizens got rid of the fetus since the beginning of the year. The Ministry of Health clarified that there have been no cases of termination of pregnancy at home since January 1, 2025.

Conferences on protecting women's reproductive health are held periodically in the Voronezh Region. Obstetricians-gynecologists, psychologists, and social workers discuss measures to prevent abortions, ways to provide psychological assistance to women in situations of termination of pregnancy, the impact of abortion on the psyche and the state of the reproductive system. All this brings positive results. As we can see, this year 81 residents of the Voronezh Region refused abortion.
