Torreense eliminates Oliveirense on penalties and advances in the Portuguese Cup

Torreense beat Oliveirense today in a penalty shootout, 5-4 after a 1-1 draw at the end of 120 minutes, and secured passage to the fourth round of the Portuguese Football Cup.
In a clash between Liga II teams, played at the Manuel Marques Stadium in Torres Vedras, Amadou Diallo put the away team ahead after just five minutes, with André Simões equalizing in the 90+4 minute. Nothing changed in extra time, and the tie was decided only by a penalty shootout, in which the Torres Vedras team came out on top.
Just five minutes in, and after a first attempt blocked by Lucas Paes, Amadou Diallo scored the first goal of the afternoon, taking advantage of a ball recovered in an advanced zone.
The English striker was on fire again in the 21st minute, and the same thing happened in the 36th minute, but with Dany Jean, who wasted a clear opportunity to equalize the contest.
The 'azuis grená' started the second half better and Zohi, in the 47th minute, shot close to the right post of the goal defended by Nitai Greis, who shortly after saw Léo Silva head the ball dangerously into the same area.
However, in the 90+4 minute, and after Ismael Seydi missed a shot inside the six-yard box, André Simões appeared in the finishing zone and headed in the equalizer, taking the tie to extra time.
At that moment, Alfaro still forced Nitai Greis to make the best save of the match, but nothing changed until the penalty shootout, in which Oliveirense missed through João Silva and Torreense converted all five shots.
