Stars debut this Friday at the international Beach Tennis tournament in Rio Verde (GO)

The main draw of the BT 200 tournament begins this Friday, the 4th, the first international Beach Tennis event that the city of Rio Verde (GO) will host in one of the fastest growing sports in the world and already has more than 1.4 million players in Brazil. The competition offers more than 200 points to the champions and distributes US$ 15 thousand in prizes.

The two-time world champion and 5th in the world, Spaniard Antomi Ramos, and São Paulo native Daniel Mola, 7th placed and an athlete on the Brazilian National Team, will play the last and main game of the day, starting at 7 pm, against the Goiás duo formed by Leonardo Castelli and Gabriel Lacerda.

Maria Fernades from Goiás and Sofia Sciaroni from Bolivia will play first, at 5:30 pm, against the number 2 seeds, the Italian Giulia Trippa and Graziele Silva from Minas Gerais, both in the top 20 of the world rankings.

Top 10 in the world, Italian Flaminia Daina and Brazilian Raquel Iotte face Livia Gava and Luana Nassu at 2:30 pm. The schedule starts at 10 am with the men's 2nd seeds, Renzo Amancio and João Wiesinger facing Miguel Mazzaro and Matheus Merlo.

There will be six playing courts and 32 matches in the first round. The tournament continues on Saturday and Sunday with broadcasts on the PlayBT channel on YouTube. Athletes from seven countries are competing. In addition to Brazil, Spain, Italy, France, Chile, Argentina and Bolivia are represented.
