Santo Estêvão hosts 3rd 3-a-side Football Tournament

The new Santo Estêvão Sports Center will host the 3rd edition of the 3-a-side Football Tournament on July 12th and 13th, an initiative promoted by the 1597 Association and Juventude STE, with the support of local companies and entities that continue to invest in the development of sport in the region.

With the draw for the games already completed, the organizers are preparing two days filled with sporting activities, fair play, and community spirit, with free admission for all who wish to attend. The tournament aims to be a "meeting point for athletes, families, and the community."

One of the highlights of the program is scheduled for Sunday, July 13th, at 8:00 pm, with the official presentation of the participation medals in the VIII Funchal Futsal Cup to the Benjamins team from Associação 1597, which represented the municipality in Madeira. The Fair Play Trophy won by the team will also be presented at the same ceremony.

Immediately after the awards are presented, the young athletes return to the field for a special game of 3-a-side football.

The event is supported by local companies and institutions that have joined this initiative.
