Palmeiras holds tour of the Super World Cup in the club's Trophy Room

The only team from São Paulo competing in the Super Club World Cup, Palmeiras received the tournament trophy this Friday (09). The trophy will be on display throughout the weekend in the club's Trophy Room, located at Allianz Parque. At least two thousand fans have already collected tickets to visit the venue.

President Leila Pereira opened the exhibition, which was attended by fans Nickollas Grecco and Silvia Grecco, winners of the 2019 FIFA Award. Just like at the games, the mother described to her son the other trophies present at the exhibition. Among them are the 1951 Rio Cup and the three Libertadores Cups won by the green and white team.

In addition to the event at its stadium, Palmeiras will take the trophy to Arena Barueri on Sunday (11). On the stage of the classic against São Paulo, the trophy most desired by the fans will be on display before the Choque-Rei.

In the tournament, which starts on June 14, Verdão is in the group of Inter Miami, Porto and Al Ahly-EGI. The debut takes place on the 15th, against the Portuguese, in New Jersey.
