Now a grandpa, Dileo gets emotional and offers the title to little Beltrán

Coach Horacio Dileo celebrated winning the 2025 São Paulo Men's Volleyball Championship on Friday night (10/17), with a beautiful performance by Vôlei Renata in the 3-0 victory over Suzano, in front of a packed Taquaral gymnasium, in the State final. At the end of the game, he became emotional and dedicated the title to his grandson Beltrán, who was born earlier this month in Argentina.
"We were very happy with the title. We started to gel as a team. It was a very demanding Paulista final, with some very high-level matches," said Dileo, who only had almost half of his starting lineup—Judson, Adriano, and Matheus Pinta, who were with the Brazilian national team—back in the semifinals.
"Congratulations to Suzano on another final, but today we were very competent. We played very well there and today. We did a lot to be here. Congratulations also to my grandson, who was just born. Kisses, Beltrán," Dileo concluded, in an interview with Sportv, emotionally.
