Four Vasco players could be called up to the Brazilian National Team; see the names.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti, along with Rodrigo Caetano, general executive coordinator of the Men's National Teams, and Samir Xaud, president of the CBF, attended the match between Vasco and São Paulo, in São Januário, for the Brazilian Championship, on Sunday night (02), to observe four Cruzmaltino players with a view to the next call-up for the Brazilian National Team. The Italian will announce the squad list for the next FIFA international break, which takes place in November, at 3pm (Brasília time) next Monday (03).

Among the players on the preliminary list for the national team, four play for Vasco da Gama : goalkeeper Léo Jardim; right-back Paulo Henrique, who was in Ancelotti's last squad; as well as midfielder Philippe Coutinho and forward Rayan.

Brazil will face Senegal at Emirates Stadium in London at 1 PM (Brasilia time) on the 15th of this month. Later, on the 18th, they will play Tunisia at Decathlon Stadium in France at 4:30 PM (Brasilia time).
