Cruzeiro fan will have to pay compensation to Atlético-MG for damages caused to Arena MRV

A Cruzeiro fan will have to pay R$5,000 to Atlético-MG for damages caused to the MRV Arena during a match between Galo and Internacional on June 12. The man was infiltrated by the Colorado fans and caused damage to the stadium.

According to Atlético, the fan was identified during the match, using the MRV Arena's technological equipment. He was taken to the police station, and the club took criminal action from there.

In addition to the R$5,000 compensation, the fan will have to comply with a restrictive measure, appearing at the Special Criminal Court (JEC) over the next three months, on days when Atlético or Cruzeiro games are being played.

Another punishment adopted was that the fan is suspended and cannot attend the MRV Arena.
