Pope's brother: Leo XIV will be "second Francis"

The new Pope's older brother, John Prevost, gave an interview to La Repubblica where he explains a little about his brother's ideas and what we can expect from this new pontificate.

“I think we’re going to see a second Francis. He’s going to leave his mark, but they were very close and shared the same philosophy,” said John Prevost, who highlighted how his brother is dedicated to “helping the poor, the forgotten, the less privileged, the marginalized.”

Asked by the newspaper about his brother's opinion on the Donald Trump administration's immigration policy, John Prevost assured that his brother "is not happy". "I don't know how far he will go in talking about it, but I don't think he will stay silent for long," he said.
