'Justice is being served in Brazil for a fascist,' says Petro about Bolsonaro
Colombian President Gustavo Petro shared a video on his social media of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) wearing an electronic ankle bracelet and stated that “justice is being served in Brazil”.
"Fascism is not an ideology, it is a crime," the Colombian leader wrote on Monday, the 21st. The video shared by Petro was recorded by Bolsonaro supporters in Congress.
During the recording of the footage, Bolsonaro stated that the ankle bracelet was a "symbol of humiliation." Because of his remarks, Justice Alexandre de Moraes asked the former president's lawyers for explanations .
In addition to using the monitoring ankle bracelet, Bolsonaro is currently prohibited from using social media, including broadcasting or posting audio, videos, or transcripts of interviews on third-party profiles.
