Paris Jackson and Justin Long's engagement has ended. The couple is separated.

After sparking concern after being seen completely devastated during a walk, it is now known that Paris Jackson, 27, is single.

Michael Jackson's daughter's engagement to music producer Justin Long has ended, TMZ has confirmed.

The couple split eight months after Paris Jackson announced that she had been proposed to by her partner while they were in the 'city of love', Paris, France.

This Thursday, July 31st, Paris Jackson posted on X reacting to paparazzi photos of her crying in public, confessing that they were "breakup tears." This also confirmed that the engagement was called off.

However, as TMZ also reports, the reasons for the split are still unknown. However, it's clear that Paris removed some posts with Justin from her Instagram page.

The photographs of Paris Jackson that put her in the spotlight

It was last week that Paris Jackson caused concern among fans. She was photographed walking in Malibu, visibly devastated, in tears, and alone.

These images were taken just weeks after the artist marked the 16th anniversary of her father Michael Jackson's death.

At the time, Paris was wearing a black and brown short-sleeved shirt, gray cycling shorts, and light-colored sneakers.

Paris Jackson's relationship with Justin Long

It was in December of last year that Paris Jackson posted a series of photos on social media and revealed that she had been proposed to by Justin Long. The now-former couple had reportedly been dating since June 2022.

At the time, in a post she shared on social media, which is no longer available, the artist showed the music producer getting down on one knee and proposing to her with a diamond ring. Paris said "yes" and kissed her then-fiancé. Justin then placed the ring on Michael Jackson's daughter's finger.

"Living life with you these past few years has been an indescribable whirlwind, and I couldn't dream of anyone more perfect for me. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you," Paris Jackson wrote at the time.

OE News! recalls that Paris met Justin backstage at 'The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon' in 2022. "He wanted to chime in and give his opinion. He looked at me and asked, 'Can I?' And I said, 'I trust you.' We had a brief fling and started dating soon after that," she recalled in an interview with Access Hollywood last June, referring to the moment she met her now ex-partner and how it all began.

Furthermore, in the same interview, she said that wedding preparations were already underway. "The dress is being made. The venue has been chosen. The date has been chosen," she revealed.
